"I bought one because it was recommended by lots of women; I had previously bought the Snowmaster and discovered THAT one is made for men. You need lots of upper body strenth for that and I couldn't use it. I haven't used the Silver Bear yet; no real snow to speak of this winter so far (thank God). I bought the wheel attachment for it and glad I did; makes it easy to move around, even for testing on concrete. I think the Silver Bear is a much better choice! " more

"I got one, 28" wide, because I needed something to make snow removal easier and quicker. Too large and too heavy for a petite female over 50 ! Doesn't move "slushy" snow at all! Won't "cut" into the snow. I regret buying it. I think the "Silver Bear" snow scoop would probably be a much better choice. Tired of getting ripped off buying disappointing products though; and the Snowmaster was "Made in the USA" and was also listed on the internet as recommended by Bob Vila on "The Today Show". Those two bits of info were what convinced me to try it. The wheels do help move the snow, but do nothing to help scoop it up. " more
