CCRadio-SW

The CCRadio-SW is a portable AM/FM/Shortwave radio. The radio features a Twin Coil Ferrite AM Antenna for long range AM radio reception. The CCRadio-SW supersedes the CCRadio plus, drops some features, but adds some others including, most notably, Shortwave reception. The radio can be run off 4 D-size batteries, an AC adapter, or 4 AAA batteries as a backup. It features line-level stereo outputs, for connecting to your home theater, amplifier, or receiver.

I'm confused. Is there really a market for these AM/FM/Shortwave radios? I pretty much only listen to Internet radio in the house. I do listen to the regular radio in the car, but I hate it. Any thoughts?
