"Unfortunately, Sony has not published the stand-by power requirements for any of the x20 models on their site, but the 910 beat the Onkyo's hands-down in at least the discipline of intelligent use of energy. The 920 should be in the low single-digit Watt range as well."

"2 comments: Opera is no longer free for the Wii. The 'Internet Channel' costs $10 now. And the Pinnacle Show Center, despite all its shortcomings, is probably still the most solid streaming box out there. I prefer the Show Center remote over the Wii controller."

New pro/con: Phono-pre amp input (yes, this has become a rare feature)
New pro/con: Does not appear to have a switched AC outlet (for active subwoofer)

Would you recommend getting the discontinued STR-DG1100 over the STR-DG920? The 1100 can be found for $479.00 (refurbished) through sonystyle.com. It appears to have all the same features as the 920 plus it has a plug in for the sub woofer. Te 920 just seems to pricey $599 and doesn't even have a plug in for the sub, would i just have to leave the sub on all the time unless i manually turned it off?
