CDT Universal Scissors

The Universal Scissors by CDT can be used by both right and left-handed people. The main goal of the scissors was that they be able to be used by both groups of people equivalently, which resulted in its unique design, characterized by the geometrically shaped handles. They are made from brushed stainless steel. Dimensions: height - 2.5" x length - 7.25".

I don't understand why these scissors or so expensive. It would be cheaper (although maybe not easier) to have 2 sets, wouldn't it?
