I have experienced the game on the Wii, and the guitar controller was what I wasn't expecting. The Wii controller has smaller buttons that are closer together, unlike the PS2 version where the buttons are of reasonable size and are spaced evenly. I don't have a Wii, however, so I don't need to concern myself with that issue. I do want this game, however."

May 5, 2007 at 8:30 pm

Could someone answer me this? When I post a reply that I spent a good amount of time typing up, it takes me to a screen that says, "Enter reply here", and when I check to see whether or not I am signed in, it says "Sign in". And when I type these, I am signed in. Could someone please tell me what's up, because it would probably help kill the confusion.

Silence, when you say politics, do you mean laws, and the Republicans and Democrats, because unless you confirm what specific area of politics you want to debate about since politics is a broad subject, I'm not posting anything on the subject yet.

Chidori responded to the thread The Greatest Debate of them All!!!

April 23, 2007 at 10:49 pm

As for non-renewable resources, a big one of course is oil. In fact, as this invaluable resource slims down to where there's only a little left, countries all over the globe will be fighting for it. Here's another fact, back during the days of the Roman Empire, wars were fought over salt, and to think in the present, salt is something we can just take off the shelves of our nearest markets. Silence told me that he would be driving a hybrid car, as they start faster than gasoline fueled cars, but also they run longer. However, I think they are more expensive. However, I'm glad that scientists are trying to come up with alternative fuels other than gasoline. I know biofuels are already coming into the picture, and I read an article about them, and it said that when burned, biofuels release three times as much carbon dioxide or monoxide than fossil fuels. The article could be wrong however, and biofuels, if they turn out to be a success, can be grown back, as they are a renewable resource, unlike fossil fuels. Post your opinions on this.

I'm posting on deforestation. Deforestation is the act of taking out large forests and also overcutting forests. I think that we need to be more cautious about how many trees we're cutting down in forests. We all know that the wood from the trees we cut is made into products we use everyday. However, I think we need to limit how many trees we cut. Besides products we make of wood, think of the things we're obliterating. The Amazon Rainforest is shrinking everyday, and there could be a cure for cancer in the plants for all we know. Another thing is the rare woods we use to make wood projects. If we continue to harvest it, there won't be any left. I know for a fact that there are incredibly expensive woods in India, such as sandal and teak wood. Post your opinions on this, please.

I read your replies and have found them very logical, and we all have our opinions on global warming. I will probably no longer comment on this, as both of you seem to be on a certain side. However, i did enjoy hearing your opinions about global warming, and i thought it was fun to comment on your replies. Thank you for giving your opinions.

2. responded to the thread Pluto Probe: An Advancment in Science, Or A Big Waste of Money - January 21, 2007 at 1:49 pm

As we all know, Nasa launched a Pluto Probe in 2006 that will reach Pluto in 2015. However, later in 2006, Pluto was demoted to a dwarf planet. The question here is is the probe an advancement in science for its purpose to photograph Pluto, is it a waste of money, or could we have put the money used for the probe for a better use. I for one think that even though these will be our first photos of Pluto, that we could have used the money for better purposes, since Pluto's size is insignificant compared to the other planets, not counting the two other dwarf planets, Eris and Ceres. The second pirates of the caribbean move cost more than the probe was, but the movie makers used private money whereas NASA uses our tax money to build its space vehicles. According to my sources, when the probe eventually reaches Pluto and takes pictures, the pictures will take 5 hours to reach earth at the speed of light. As i said, is this probe an advancement in science, or could we have put the money to better use. Please post your opinions on this, as i am eager to hear them.

January 21, 2007 at 1:12 am

Now Silence, Is it really possible to clean up the Earth? You can stroll down to the park and throw the trash into a garbage can, but how could we possibly clean the earth? We don't have a vaccuum that can suck all the CO2 out of the air, and if we did, we would have to have them in various places because of the size of the Earth. I do agree with you however that we could drive vehicles with less fuel consumption to the gallon. However, how can we convince everyone to drive in those types of cars when the tree huggers are being hypocrites by telling us to stop putting exhaust into the air, while they're flying around in their jets and riding around in their limousines. Going back to the cars, everyone who is currently of age or older to drive cars has a different kind of car. How can we ensure that every car is outfitted and remade so they have less fuel consumption? It would take a lot of money from auto shops and car companies to remake those cars, and it would cost a bundle on us. Even if it does come to this, we can't be sure everyones' cars are outfitted to meet these specifications. I'm getting tired of typing this article, so i'll be waiting for your reply.

January 20, 2007 at 6:00 pm

Silence, I read your article and even though i already knew your thoughts, i still find that belieiving the skeptics and our emission of greenhouse gases is logical. However, as I discussed with my father and you, the United States has clean emission factories, unlike some countries in the world such as China, and this is because most of the products we purchase at stores are manufactured in China. The Earth is a large planet to us, but it is small if you consider the other planets in our solar system. I think that the Earth is going through a course, and the article on global warming we read said the Earth was probably going to cool down in probably eight years. However, as we both had disagreeing terms on this, the Earth's temperature rose 1 degree on the entire surface. You think this is significant because you were telling me about the north or south poles. I however, think this is insiginificant because on a temperature scale, one degree is not that much. As i said, i believe what my dad told me that the earth is going through a natural cycle. However, our putting CO2 into the air is playing a small role in this, but it is mostly the eearth's doing, which is my opinion.

When if find an image on a website i want, i right click on it and save it to 'my pictures.' After doing that, i go to my settings on my page, and click on edit where it says avatar. I click on browse under Source Filename and select the file my image is saved under. i then click select after right clicking on my image filename, and then press save under browse. The next page loads and it says oops... we could not process your request. Could you help me out here please, and tell me a correct way to upload an avatar? Thanks.

September 8, 2006 at 11:26 pm

I have heard about the Destroy All Humans game for the PS2, and I would like your opinions on it. I would like to buy it, but I think the price is $40, and I want to use the money I've saved up to buy a Wii. I would also like to rent the game first I buy it (if i decide to). But could you share your thoughts on the game and tell me if it's worth the $40, or if I should just put it on my Christmas List.

Omar, I agree with you about the gamecube. One of my favorite games for the gamecube is Animal Crossing. I enjoy how there are different series and sets, how you can take care of your community, and etc. Nintendo did a good job in designing this game for the gamecube. As for your doubts on the Wii, I disagree with you. The Wii is very different from the gamecube. I know you already know the features, and these features are way beyond the gamecube playing experience. The Wii has a motion-sensitive control, and the gamecube doesn't even have that. In Zelda, instead of pressing a button to swing the sword and use the shield, you can use the remote to swing the sword and can smash enemies with the shield with the nunchuk. Also, the Wii has better graphics than the gamecube, and with all these features, $250 is a very reasonable price. I can't say much about online gaming, as I haven't researched into that field yet. However, like Silence Omo 7, I have hopes for the Wii. The only thing that I'm disappointed about (even though I should have expected it) is that the controller has to have batteries in it to operate. This stinks because if you're playing a game and the batteries die, you won't be able to pause and could get killed. As for the Wii games, Redsteel does look cool, with its freeze shooting system, but I'm into more of fighting and sword fighting games. However, I do like to play good shooting games. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is of course going to be the best Zelda game so far, what with Link's transformations and all the different fighting features. However, as I stated above, I have high hopes for the Wii, and the games just look very awesome!
