Clarisonic

Clarisonic is a skin cleaning device that uses oscillating brushes to cleanse thoroughly cleanse and invigorate the skin. The device is made of a handle and a brush head which has concentric rings of bristles that oscillate back and forth at 300 times per second. It was designed by the inventors of the Sonicare toothbrush, and uses the same sonic technology. The back-and-forth motion of the brushes ensure the skin is being worked with, rather than against by never actually scratching the skin surface and instead using a more massaging motion. The Clarisonic can be used with any non-abrasive cleanser, and is gentle enough to be used up to 2 times per day. It is recommended that brush heads are replaced every 3-4 months ($25 each).
