The ability to connect to a total of 8 devices simultaneously at 3 to 6 Mbps with bursts of up to 10Mbps makes it suitable for use as a home internet solution as well as being portable. Usage plans include a basic 200MB per month capped data plan and an unlimited monthly data plan. In either case there is no long term contract required just a one time connection fee, after which you only pay for the months when you are using it. Other plans like Home, On-The-Go and Home and Voice plans are available as well. The unit measures 3.4" square by 0.7" thick, and has only a power button and a mute button, which can be used to mute the beeping sounds, and, the large 2200 mAh battery allows for over 6 hours of continuous heavy use between charges. External antenna port lets you connect to an antenna for improved signal, and a 2" LCD screen tells you the signal strength, SSID, password, battery life, number of devices attached, time connected and the amount of data sent.
