Unlike the generic version of the CG16 Irons, the tour is harder to hit but offers better shots if the player has the skill. The club has a modest cavity back, with an undercut engineered to improve ball speed and accuracy. The undercut is also designed to improve shots that are just slightly off-center, as the club is designed with a slight forgiveness. The club face has laser milled grooves and milled tour zip grooves.
