Corel Painter is a raster-based digital art application designed to immitate as accurately as possible the properties and behaviors of real-life painting, drawing, and print-making media. Painter offers a wide range of art tools and materials (including a variety of substrates to be drawn on) as well as a variety of non-traditional effects. It is intended for use by professional digital artists with a graphics tablet.
