Replacing the HX520W as the weakest in the professional HX series, the HX450W brings modular cabling, 85%+ efficiency, and an ever increasing warranty - which now stands at 7 years - to the masses of PC enthusiasts who do not require the wattage provided by more expensive models. Specifics, pricing and availability has yet to be announced.

Pros
- all the power that is required by the majority of people
- can power any single carded gaming machine with ease
- modular cables
Cons
- will probably get louder faster than the 520/620 models (but with peoples loud video card, cpu and case fans this probably isn't a problem for the majority)
- very little different than the value series (only modular cables and multiple 12V rails)
