Featuring the same low noise, high efficiency design, and quality manufacturing as the rest of the Corsair lineup, the VX550W adds an added punch over it's less powerful brother that justifies an 8pin PCI-E power cable for high end gaming videocards. While you won't be running SLI/crossfire monsters on this puppy, it is surely enough for a less intensive dual graphics card or single higher end, dual GPU setup.
