If he goes below 50 miles/hour then he blows up.  No wait, that's Speed.  In this other movie titled after a euphemism for drugs, it's not a bus that can't stop but the British action super star Jason Statham.  Pulse-pounding is an apt description as the unrelenting pace of the movie picks up in the first 5 minutes and doesn't stop until the very end.

I saw this movie in the theatres last week with a couple of friends of mine, and it was obvious that they enjoyed it a lot more than I did. I don't regret seeing the movie, but I don't think I could recommend it to anyone else. Maybe if you have NOTHING else to do and you've already seen every other movie out, it's not a horrible way to entertain yourself for 2 hours. The music video style editing was interesting, if annoying at times, maybe I'm just getting too old for the quick cuts and loud noises.

Omar, is it safe to say that you're exactly like the main character of this movie but with the exception that your poison is the movie itself and instead of keeping your adrenaline high, it bored you to death?

It's actually not boring at all. It's just crazy and quite silly. Forget about drama, or characters with personality. It's like a video game in movie form.... I think I just realized that I love this movie.
