I'm about half-way through the game at this point, and so far it's very enjoyable in an odd, creepy way. The atmospheric wintery effects are probably the best I've ever seen in a video game when it comes to snow and ice. My only complaint about the environment has has to do with the ship you're on, which by nature is a boring frozen dark gray. The storytelling is completely unique, using flashbacks of frozen shipmates to view how things on the ship came to be. there are also these cards you find throughout the game that tell a story of an ancient group of people from times past that's equally fascinating.

This game will require a decent PC, and heavily relies on Nvidia's PhysX technology. ATI card owners won't be getting the full experience, not to mention forcing physics on the CPU in this game reduces overall performance. On my 9600 GT I'm able to run it best at 1440 x 900 on medium settings.
