Details

Set in 2019 after a colossal asteroid crashes to Earth, Crysis begins amidst a tense military standoff between the North Korean and United States governments for control of the impact zone. Amid rising tensions, the asteroid suddenly bursts open revealing a massive alien ship, which begins freezing vast portions of the island and altering the global weather system. The invasion of Earth has begun. Crysis features an epic three-act story of alien invasion where players are able to customize their armor and weapons in real time to confront an ever-changing enemy and a harsh, dynamic environment.

Successor to Far Cry and truly one of the few games that shows why PC gaming is still superior to consoles. The combination of stunning graphics, amazing physics, and incredible AI will raise eyebrows on this one.

Crysis is rumoured to be coming out for next-gen consoles, so maybe the next one :P But this game definitely looks sweeeeet, the lushness of it all has a vibrant beauty about it that's quite unique.

I'm not a PC gamer and my computer can't handle this, but those screenshots look so amazing, that it all could change for me.

Personally I've already played the game and beaten it twice. I didn't care for the alien ship taking up half of the story line like it did, however, the over look's more than made up for it have a 260 GTX maxcore BFG vid card and a Q6600 with 2 gigs of ram on vista nad it runs at about 15-20 FPS max everything 1440x900. Truthfully the story line I found awsome and can't wait to see the next isntallments.
