The Curtis IP1490 is an iPod stereo system designed to charge an iPod while playing the music on it for the whole room to hear. It is designed to accommodate only the iPod, iPod video, iPod nano, and iPod mini so it isn't useful for consumers with newer products such as the iPod touch. The system comes with a remote control and a top loading CD player. An AM/FM radio is also included but the features are limited when compared to newer products. Though the device is adaquate for music needs, the Curtis IP1490 is overpriced for the limited features and limited compatibility that it offers.
