"I see where you're going but the remote isn't wireless like bluetooth, its only IR like regular remotes. Since the XBOX 360 remote has the ABXY and guide buttons on it which it sends via IR then the remote can learn them."

"I bought two of these new off eBay about six months ago for $35 a pop. Thats the main reason why I love them. They work GREAT but the retail price is stupid high and I would never pay $100 bucks for them. They easily work with the 360 as well so thats an added plus. Right now I run both my boys XBOX 1s off them and my 360 is ran with ethernet cabling and it all plays well together. These are a sure fire *buy* at the right price."

"I'm not real pleased with this unit as of yet. Seems that it regularly starts buzzing causing everyone in the channel to have a hard time hearing me. I have two other people that I game with regularly that have them and they suffer from the same issues. When it works, its GREAT but having to cycle the power to the headset every so often because of the buzzing is annoying especially for the $60 dollar price tag. The pluses are that it feels totally comfortable on the ear, you really don't even realize its there. The sound quality is really good and the buttons for mute/volume work nicely. If it was cheaper I'd recommend it but as it is right now I'd say hold off until/if these interferance issues are addressed. I can't count the times I end up taking it off and pluging in a standard headset because of the issues."

"I bought this when it came out to tide me over till the first party M$ wireless headset dropped. This unit is SOLID. The sound quailty is the best I've used on XBOX/XBOX 360 and its worth every penny. The unit fits snuggly on your head the boom mic stays put and the set never feels heavy or out of place even in long gaming stretches. I would recommend this unit as a replacement to the official wired headset. Some people won't like it simply because of the size and perceived bulkiness but after using it for a few months I can honestly say you don't notice it anymore then you would a standard headset."

"I have a Sony RM-3000 (I think thats the model) touchscreen programmable remote that works fine. Pretty much any learning remote should work. I just taught my remote all the buttons that where on the 360 remote including the ABXY buttons with no problems."

"If you've already got a 360 and at least a 720p HDTV then this is a worthwhile purchase. Owning a 360 and viewing the HD content from gametrailers, movie trailers, and actual games themselves running in HD has made it really hard for me to watch standard def video feeds anymore. I've become spoiled. The King Kong movie that shipped with the HD Drive looks amazing. Mind you, I don't have a 1080p set either so I can just imagine what is possible here. Right now I'm running a 50" Sony HD LCD Projection TV and I'm loving every minute of the HD-DVD offerings that are out right now. The pack-in remote is nothing to right home to mom about though. Its the large remote thats been availble since the system launch but if you have a HT system then you probably already have a superior remote that can handle all your gear. Remote isn't really a selling point. The unit seems to work flawlessly and was a snap to install. The M$ company line is "its all about choice" because they couldn't build the HD-DVD drive in at launch but I'm glad they ended up having to go this route because I doubt I'd spent $600 on the system at that time. It was much easier for me to pay the $400 at system launch and enjoy probably a dozen games before the HD-DVD drive hit at an affordable price. Bottomline, this unit is a *buy*."
