"I've heard good and bad things about the Boa system. The knob tightens the wire and if it breaks, you are pretty much hosed. There are other systems out there that do a better job with regular laces, but in the end comfort is the final factor."

"It'd be hard to control how much salt/pepper you want though. Either the portion dispensed will have to be small and thus making it useless or it will ruin your food. Unless there is some sort of control - but that still leads to the problem of different people using the same setting."
