March 19, 2008 at 7:13 pm

"I just purchased the HV 30 and i am eager to test the quality of the 30p and the 1920x1080 full HD. However when i capture to Vegas 8, it comes thru as 60i 1440x1080. When i capture to Windows movie maker its even worse 720x480. It appears that the only way to capture video is thru the IEEE1348 wire. It also appears that the capture software must support the 30p and the 1920x1080. My question, is there currently any software outthere capable of capturing these advanced formats?"
