Daysoft Dailies

daysoft 58 and daysoft 72 are the lowest cost daily disposable contact lenses in the world and are manufactured by daysoft limited. The company was set up in Scotland by Ron Hamilton, the inventor of the daily disposable contact lens. daysoft is now the only company to manufacture daily disposable contact lenses in both mid and high water contents: 58% H2O and 72% H2O, hence the brand names. They are also available from many UK and Irish opticians and across many other countries.

Details

daysoft lenses come in packs of 32 instead of the usual 30 offered by other brands. This means that even those who wear lenses every day have a spare lens or two per pack each month, which is handy in case a lens is dropped or damaged during handling.

daysoft 58 and daysoft 72 are the only daily disposable contact lenses with a cast-moulded rounded edge.  This makes them comfortable on the eye without the need to put additives in the packing solution, which remains a simple saline bath.  Some manufacturers use additives to help "hide" uncomfortable features of their lenses. A chisel edge is one feature, common to other brands of lens, that can create discomfort as the inside of the eyelid passes over the edge when blinking.

daysoft contact lenses are packaged in ultra-slim boxes, which guarantees they fit through your letter box. This means no more trips to the post office at the weekend to collect undelivered lenses. It also means daysoft lenses are kinder to the environment than other brands, as less packaging material is used. the slimline packaging is different from all other manufacturers’ packs, so for those people who are unfamiliar with it, daysoft has created a helpful video.
