Introduced in mid January 2009, the 2209WA is a 22" eIPS based computer monitor from Dell. Featuring a resolution of 1680 x 1050px, 300cd/m2 brightness and a contrast ratio of 1000:1 the 2209WA has a 6ms grey-to-grey response time. While slower than a great deal of TN matrix screens, the IPS based matrix allows for less backlight bleed, better colour (true 8-bit colour) and improved viewing angles. Other than this, the 2209WA is a basic computer monitor - sporting common DVI and VGA inputs and a 4 port USB hub. The stand of the 2209WA allows for swivel, tilt, rotate and height adjustment. The monitor is supposed to ship within the next two weeks for price unknown.
