The Dell 5230dn is a monochrome laser printer designed for high-volume printing in an office environment. This is similar to the Dell 5230n, but includes a duplexer for 2-sided printing and can handle heavier papers up to 51.6 pound bond.

They are the same in other ways, including the ability to print up to 45 pages per minute on letter sized paper and a 1200x1200 dpi print mode for sharper images and text. The duty cycle for this printer is set at up to 200,000 pages per month, and the cost per page including paper and toner is as low as 1.43¢. Maintenance of the printer has been simplified to ensure that it can be in use for a long time, and the hardware is covered by a 1 year manufacturer warranty.
