The Cons:Screen glass overly creates substantial glare in some lighting situations. A hefty 9.8 pounds - massive even for gaming laptop standards. Only 4 total USB ports (two 3.0, two 2.0).
The Alienware M17x is a premium gaming PC released in early 2011. It features a stylish chassis with lots of LEDs, an illuminated backlit keyboard, and chrome accents. More importantly, it builds from previous generations by adding 3D functionality, meaning 3D Blu-ray discs can be watched with an optional pair of Nvidia 3D shutter glasses.

In addition, the display supports a full 1080p resolution. Also featured are Intel’s new Sandy Bridge processors up to a Core i7; up to 16GB DDR3 RAM; and a SATA drive up to 1.5TB and SSD up to 512GB. Signature though is a new SiBEAM WirelessHD chip that allows the device to stream 1080p video to an HDTV without any delays or problems whatsoever. Overall it's faster, it's more mobile, and it's 3D.
