The Inspiron 910 is a new, long awaited netbook from Dell. Intended to compete with the likes of the Asus EEE pc, MSI Wind and Acer Aspire One, the 910 is not meant to be a users primary computer. Rather, it is designed to be a lifestyle accessory, light, easy to use and as close to a fully featured laptop as possible while avoiding the extra bulk, expense, heat and noise of a regular laptop. Rumoured to be released at the end of August for a measly $299, the official specifications of the device have been leaked, and are confirmed to be not unlike many other competing devices on the market. Utilizing the low cost, low power Intel Atom CPU, the Inspiron 910 will have 512-1024MB of DDR2 ram, a 4, 8, or 16GB SSD drive, and a 8.9" LED backlit screen.
