Released December, 2009
The Pros:Features the latest 'Pine Trail' processor - slightly better performance in a smaller, more energy efficient package (onboard graphics). Available with an enhanced Broadcom Crystal HD processors and larger 720p resolution (1366 x 768px) - will allow for playback of high definition content. The Broadcom HD accelerator has open source drivers - has been widely adopted and works with a good majority of media programs / file formats.
The Cons:Display has a high amount of gloss - makes not getting a reflection quite difficult. No HDMI output (like those found on ION equipped netbooks). Cheap plasticy glossy lid - poor next to other netbooks with more interesting materials.
The Dell Mini 10 is a mid-range product and the first netbook available from Dell to utilize Intel Atom Processors and features several options to take advantage of higher processing power and video playback.
