The Pros:Fans are very quiet, can't generally hear them at all. Fast processing, can handle many applications simultaneously without lagging. Phone support is knowledgable and helpful.
The Cons:Hard to upgrade, can't fit much else on the motherboard. Doesn't have the graphics processing power to handle HD video playback or games. Limited hard drive storage options available.
The Dell OptiPlex 780 is a mid-range, highly customizable desktop computer targeting business users. Available in four tower sizes, processor options include an array of Intel dual-core and quad-core units running at up to 3.33 GHz, and combining with up to 8 GB of DDR3 RAM to enable performance adequate for business tasks.

Several lower-end discrete graphics options are available in addition to an integrated solution. Other options include built-in wireless and Energy Smart technology, which qualifies the PC for Energy Star. The 780 is designed for more demanding corporate environments than other OptiPlex series, optionally featuring Intel vPro remote management technology and more powerful disk encryption.
