Dell PowerEdge R300

The Dell PowerEdge R300 is a mid-grade 1 socket chipset and processor server designed for small businesses that require a high performance but compact server. Dell claims that the R300 offers a "26% boost in performance over the HP DL320 G5p" which in turn makes it "the highest performing 1-socket quad-core server". The PowerEdge R300 supports advanced features such as hot plug hard drive and power supply support, data loss prevention, and a total maximum of up to 24GB memory combined with Intel Xeon, Core 2 Duo, and Celeron support. The R300 also ensures maximum data protection with a locked down internal USB port, a chassis intrusion switch, fully locking bezels, and a built-in Trusted Platform Module (TPM) that assists with encryption and system authentication.
