- pretty heavy (6+ pounds), poor for transportability and mobile computing

- high powered Core 2 Duo processor
- NVIDIA Quadro FX 770M with 512mb of dedicated memory will speed up 2D and 3D rendering, gaming and media decoding

- LED or dual-CCFL display options available.
- Excellent 1920x1200 optional resolution, my parents don't like it with their old eyes but for me it's brilliant.
- well constructed and solid, magnesium chassis is practically a large heatsink.
- sturdy hinges due to single metal piece design
- can be found at dell outlet for half-price.
- back-lit keyboard and eSTATA port
- socket is quad-core compatible
- It looks good and it does what i need it to do
- It's FX 770M is overclockable to FX 1700M speed.
Cons
- expensive - not much of a deal
- heavy - not great for transportability or mobile computing
- It is expensive
- heat produced while using intense programs
- non-mouse users will be disapointed - small touchpad, even smaller scroll bars.
- 9 cell battery sticks out and makes it hard to find a proper fitting sleeve
