The Dell ST2210 is a 21.5" full HD widescreen monitor released by Dell in September 2009. This 16:9 aspect ratio monitor delivers a clean and crisp picture with a full HD 1920 x 1080 resolution for enhanced movie, game playing or web surfing enjoyment. The picture quality is provided by a 50,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness level, 16.7 million colors and an antiglare coating. It has a stylish design with a slim glossy black bezel and has a panel tilt of 4° forward and 21° backward. You can connect desktops, notebooks and gaming consoles thanks to a DVI, VGA and HDMI port. To save energy, it only uses 2 CCFL lamps rather than the standard 4.

- lower brightness rating due to fewer backlights (250 cd/m2 vs. 300+)
- high resolution on 22" screen means a high pixel density - potentially hard on the eyes
- TN panel - cheap to produce/sell and fast refresh at the expense of colour quality and viewing angles

- stand is not ergonomic - only features tilt adjustment
