The Dell UltraSharp 2208WFP is a 22" HD ready widescreen flat panel monitor released in 2008. This display has a 1680x1050 native resolution and weighs 15 lbs. The resolution is higher than average, but commensurate with its price. It has a 16:10 aspect ratio which is pretty good (better than the more expensive Dell UltraSharp 2007FP that comes with 4:3 aspect ratio). It has a 1000:1 contrast ratio, which is about average. It has a wide viewing angle (160 degrees) which is useful when the screen is viewed by more than one person at a time. Overall this monitor is highly praised by professional critics and users on the web.
