Demotivators are posters that are parodies of the Successories line of motivational posters, that are intentionally created in a way to demotivate you in a cynical and ironic way. Each demotivator is available for purchase from despair.com as a "Compromise Desktopper" black brushed aluminum frame or as a 24" x 30" lithograph print for $15.95 each. You can also pick 12 posters to be put together as part of a calendar for $19.95. Despair Inc. is based out of Austin, Texas and is famous for their attempt to trademark the :-( emoticon. There is a DIY section of the website that allows users to create their own demotivational posters.
