The AH-D2000 is currently Denon's second most expensive headphone. Sometimes criticized by for its overwhelming bass, the D2000 is a good choice for somebody desiring a fun, in-your-face headphone that isn't "bass shy" like higher end Grados, AKGs etc. While closed, the large body and large price tag make the AH-D2000 a poor choice for travel or listening on the go. Rather, it is much better suited for use in a quieter environment for things such as gaming, watching tv or listening to music.
