The Denon AVR-1507 is a 7.1/5.1 channel home theater receiver and is one of the most affordable models offered by Denon. It has 7 channels each with 75 watts of power and uses high quality 24-bit/192kHz A/D (analog/digital) converters for superior sound quality and a variable low/high-pass crossover to help optimize the sound output for your room and speakers. Although there is no HDMI input, there are 3 component video inputs, 4 composite and 3 s-video inputs along with 8 analog and 4 digital audio inputs for plenty of available connectivity. There is also a dedicated iPod port for use with the optional ASD-1R dock. There are 6 DENON DSP settings which give you various acoustic environment simulations modes including Video Game, Jazz Club and Rock arena pre-sets. Other notable features include XM satellite compatibility and a cinema equalizer to support movies recorded with Dolby Digital, DTS or other popular formats.
