The Denon AVR-3310CI is an advanced 7.1 channel A/V home theater/multimedia receiver that falls in the middle of those offered by Denon. This receiver offers multi-zone/multi-source capabilities for three zones and sources, and features networking capabilities letting you stream audio and video from your home PC, lets you choose from over 7,500 internet radio stations and also connects you to Rhapsody and Napster music services, with subscription. It uses the latest high resolution audio decoders and features several sound modes including Dolby’s latest Pro Logic IIz decoding, which provides front channel height effects for the first time, dramatically expanding the front soundstage. Other advanced audio features include Audyssey’s advanced MultEQ room acoustic measurement and correction system which analyzes and optimizes its sound output using the supplied microphone, and Audyssey Dynamic Volume which ensures no annoying volume jumps between TV programming and commercials. There is plenty of HD connectivity options with five HDMI inputs and Anchor Bay ABT-2010 advanced video deinterlacing and upconversion. Other features include two remote controls (for second zone) and a convenient flip open front panel.
