The Denon DHT-789BA is a 7.1-channel, high-performance home theater system composed of one Denon’s AVR-789 A/V receiver, five Boston Acoustics’ Horizon MCS 100 speakers, and a Boston Acoustics’ Horizon MCS 100 subwoofer. The DHT-789BA’s receiver features the latest high-resolution audio decoders, including Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio. In addition, the receiver includes Audyssey MultiEQ for automatic room acoustic measurement and corrections, and Audyssey Dynamic Volume & Dynamic EQ for smooth tonal balance at any volume level. As for the speakers, the Denon DHT-789BA has exactly three identical front speakers with dual mid-bass drivers and a dome tweeter, and two matching surround speakers as well. All five speakers are ready for table-top and wall mounting. The DHT-789BA’s subwoofer, on the other hand, features a long-throw 8” driver with a 100W capacity that reaches all the way down for the deepest bass notes. The Denon DHT-789BA retails for $999.00 and comes with a 2 year limited warranty.
