The Diaper Genie II Elite System is an advanced diaper disposal system made available by Playtex Baby. The double-lock design and multi-layer film keeps odors and germs sealed in the pail, and away from your baby. This is the only system that features Ultra-Fresh Antimicrobial Protection built into the plastic which inhibits odor-causing bacteria. The foot pedal operation allows easy one hand disposal while holding your baby in the other arm, and the taller unit requires less bending. The diaper only touches the multi-layer film making it a very hygienic system. To empty the pail, simply use the internal childproof cutter to cut the bag, and tie the ends keeping the odors contained for easy bag disposal. The pail holds more than 30 small diapers requiring less frequent bag changes. The refill system has the same multi-layer film, can handle up to 180 dieapers and is only intended for Diaper Genie II and Diaper Genie II Elite sytems.

The patented AIR-TITE system uses a multi layer film and Push-N-Lock clamp to keep odors and germs sealed in the pail, and away from your baby. One hand operation allows diaper disposal while holding a baby, and the diaper only touches the film making it a very hygienic system. This one-hand operation is an upgrade to the original twisting motion required with the original Diaper Genie. Diaper Champ 4000

The BabyTrend Diaper Champ 4000 is a diaper disposal system that doesn't require extra money spent on replacement linings. This can save the parent anywhere from seven to fifty dollars a month. It isn't a good product for cloth diapers or cloth wipes as it uses a shoot to control odors and they tend to get stuck in it. Multiple owners have said that this product controls smells better than the Diaper Genie, but it isn't as good when it comes to bulkier soiled diapers. To change the bag the consumer pulls a lever on one side of the pail, releasing the lid. Inside there is another lid to lift before the adult can get to the dirty diapers. This two part system reduces smell and prevents curious toddlers from getting into the dirty diapers even if they manage to operate the lever. A negative feature of this product is that it is impossible to tell if the Diaper Champ 4000 is full until a diaper has failed to go down the shoot.

Diaper Champ 4100

The best thing about the BabyTrend Diaper Champ 4100 is that it doesn't require costly custom made liners. Any old garbage bags will do. It features a one-hand flip handle that makes it easy for both parents to access the diaper champ and unintentionally attracts toddlers to play on it. Emptying the bag requires a two step process that protects precocious toddlers from getting into the unsanitary part of the diaper disposal. The Diaper Champ 4100 is pretty much an updated version of the Diaper Champ 4000, with a few modifications to make it easier to use with cloth diapers and less likely for the children to get into it on accident. It also comes in an optional pink color if desired.

Diaper Dekor

The Diaper Dekor Diaper Disposal system is a hands free way of taking care of dirty diapers. Able to hold up to 30 diapers for the regular version, and 40 with the Plus, the Diaper Dekor has a step operated opening system, step on the pedal and the lid opens. Unlike other diaper disposal systems, the Diaper Dekor does not require batteries or filters, so the only extra cost is the refills for the lining, which can run from seven dollars to fifteen. The diaper disposal system uses a rubber seal trap to keep the odor out, which means this product has a limited lifespan, if cleaning chemicals or improper use damage the rubber seal then the product will do nothing to prevent the dirty diapers from smelling up the house. The ABS plastic body is odor resistant and will not turn yellow when bleach is used on it. The Diaper Dekor can be used for regular garbage and kitty litter as well so it is a useful product for people with cats as well as babies.
