I've bought 5 digital stream converter boxes and in less than a year, TWO of them have died. In both cases the power LED is dimly lit, but the unit simply won't power up. Additionally, when I tried to get a replacement for one that was still under warranty, they made me hook it up and try every concievable thing to satisfy them that indeed it was dead (took almost half an hour). At that point they wanted to know if I had another TV on which to try [the whole process again]!! I couldn't believe it. I wouldn't buy another digital stream product if you paid me.
