The DirecTV R15 is a standard definition digital video recorder for use with the DirecTV service and over-the-air (OTA) transmissions. It can record up to 100 hours of video, and can record two TV shows at once. It features all the standard DVR functions as well as the ability to have an on-screen caller ID if the DVR box is connected to a telephone line. The DirecTV R15 has been known to be glitch-prone, and has been replaced by newer generation DirecTV DVR's.
