New pro/con: con
Disagreed: "I thought my 142 was the best saw I ever owned until a pre-mature muffer failure. The manual suggests replacing the muffler every 75 hours. What???? $A new muffler costs $35. Well, mine failed prior to 75 hours of use but after the warranty expired. The suspected cause, the muffler gasket had been improperly installed in the factory restricting exhaust flow which in turn resulted in a scorn piston. I contacted Huskie numerous times without obtaining any assistance. Finally, A muffler gasket has two punched holes. The one I removed had three holes. Looking at it you could clearly see that it was mounted diagonally across the exhaust port. I waited a few weeks and again contacted Huskie and they claimed they never received it. No more junk."
