When has technological progress in electronics ever created a heavier larger new model with approximately the same specs? Oh no, the 1019 is going to weigh less, it must suck! Or more likely...because it's a considerably more efficient design, it doesn't need a gigantic power supply to continually feed it power that it is going to waste a significant portion of, and monstrous heat sinks. Wait until the reviews people, no one said the 918 sucked and that had the last iteration of the PHAT amps. I'm sure the PHAT II technology is going to improve on that already commendable performance. Or maybe Pioneer just has you guessing so that you all quickly gobble up the last of the 1018's in heated speculation and fear of a possible inferior product. I'm guessing you all got duped and will just drive the price of 1018's to ridiculous heights.
