new pro/con: Use of SLOT-1 device alone does not appear to affect battery life significantly
new pro/con: GBA Expansion Pack fits flush into DS SLOT-2
new pro/con: Menu was better (clearer layout and more easily skinned) with M3 DS Simply

new pro/con: USB Micro SD flash card reader was garbage and had to be replaced within a week.
