The Eclipse AVN726E is Eclipse's top DVD-Video A/V head unit in their AVN line. It feates an upgraded navigation system with instant touch-screen response, 3D-like maps for easier location recognition, and an SD card for accessing the latest map updates. The most distinguishing feature of this unit is its extreme flexibility, as it not only handles CDs and DVDs with MP3/WMA/DivX formats, but it’s also ready to connect to an iPod, an external MP3 player, and even HD/Satellite Radio. Included with the unit is also integrated hands-free Bluetooth, cited by Eclipse has delivering speeds up to 4x faster than conventional systems. Note also that the Eclipse AVN726E’s audio components were specially built for thorough output—a high 5V preamp output is included as well.

- Cannot play media from SD Card, called the dealer they said its possible still need to figure it out?
- Lacking the Gala function, when the car goes faster the music should go louder. Only works on GPS Voice Navigation
