The Panasonic ES7109S is a base-model cordless electric shaver in Panasonics Vortex product line. This is a wet or dry shaver, which allows it to be used in or out of the shower, with or without shaving foam. The pivoting action shaving head rock up and down, and side to side adjusting to the contours of your face. The three shave heads float independantly and have inner blades at a 30 degree angle to give a close shave. The pop-up trimmer allows trimming and contouring of beards, moustaches and side-burns. To clean the shaver, simply run under water and place in the HydraClean hygienic cleaning system, which cleans and dries the shaving head. The cleaning system uses a long lasting cleaning cartridge to keep the blades fresh and ready to go. The battery can be fully charged with the induction charger in one hour giving approximately 14 shaves, or can be charged for one quick shave using the five minute quick charge. The 6 stage LED battery monitor indicates how much battery life is remaining. This is nearly the same as the ES7056S, which has a 3 stage LED light battery indicator and slightly different look. Unlike the rest of the Vortex series, these two models do not use Panasonics patented high speed linear motor, which operates at 13,000 RPM.

The Philips 1050X is a cordless electric shaver which uses Philips most advanced shaving technology. Most notably, this shaver features a flex and pivot action which allows the three shaving shaving heads to flex independantly, while the entire shaving unit pivots with a full 360 degree range of motion. The Panasonic ES7801S is a compact, transportable electric shaver falling somewhere near the middle of electric shavers offered by Panasonic. It's small 3.9" x 2.3" x 1.2" size and 0.33 lb weight make this easy to pack and take wherever you need. To clean the shaver, simply run under water and place in the HydraClean hygienic cleaning system, which cleans and dries the shaving head. The cleaning system uses a long lasting cleaning cartridge to keep the blades fresh and ready to go. The battery can be fully charged with the induction charger in one hour giving approximately 12 shaves, or can be charged for one quick shave using the five minute quick charge.
