Horizon LS645E

The Horizon LS654E is a mid-grade elliptical exercise machine designed by Horizon to provide what they claim to be "professional gym equipment at home". The LS645E machine features a front drive frame design (flywheel in front) with a 14 pound flywheel motor powering the exercise and resistance system. The LS654E device includes 10 motorized resistance settings all created by a fully magnetic brake. The LS654E elliptical machine also includes pivoting foot plates for users of varying sizes and comfort levels and a total 275 pound user capacity.

The Horizon LS645E elliptical machine includes an 18" stride length meaning overall the device will also need the same amount of room for operation. Horizon claims the LS645E narrow pedal spacing "mimics" normal posture and when combined with the pivoting foot plate both features work in unison to create a device that works to allow "normal and fluid movement" during exercise. A small LCD control panel with two small displays provides information such as speed, total time, and resistance/difficulty settings in plain black text.

The Horizon LS654E elliptical machine includes several different warranties which are connected to specific parts on the device; the warranties are as follows, an individual lifetime warranty is included for the frame, a 20 year warranty is included for the brake system, and an additional 1 year warranty is included for parts and labor. All warranties are active and provided via the manufacturer Horizon.

It is worth noting that upon release the Horizon LS645E was exclusively sold at The Sports Authority.

The Horizon E5 is a mid-grade elliptical machine designed to provide the average consumer with a workout machine that has a more accessible price range. The Horizon E5 Elliptical is powered by an 14 pound flywheel motor system that is designed with 10 different motorized resistance settings to increase or decrease exercise levels. A contact heart rate monitor is also integrated to allow users to monitor heart rate before, during, and after exercise on the displayed LCD monitor. The E5 also has a fully integrated speaker system with MP3 support to allow users custom music playback during exercises.

The E5 Elliptical device includes an 18" stride length which means it will obviously also require extra space for operation. Horizon claims the device includes narrow foot spacing which "mimics" normal posture; and a pivoting foot plate which "allows the users feet to move normally". The device is accessed through the rear, and has a total rated 275 pound weight capacity.
