The eMachines eME620-5885 is an entry-level laptop intended for basic use and portability, as well as Internet use. It is also supposed to be energy efficient. It uses an AMD Athlon 2650e processor, which has a clock speed of 1.6GHz, FSB of 800MHz and 512MB of L2 cache. It also has an AMD motherboard, the AMD RS690MC, which uses ATI Radeon X1200 graphics processing and Microsoft DirectX 9.0. It has a 15.4" widescreen TFT LCD display with 1280 x 800 resolution, and a 160GB SATA hard disk. Its RAM capacity is 2GB and has an extra slot for expansion. It is Wi-Fi compatible with 802.11b/g connectivity. Its ports include 2 USB, and one each of line-in, microphone-in, 3.5mm audio, ethernet and VGA. It also has an 8x combo drive that can read and write DVDs and numerous other disc types. The included operating system is Windows Vista Home Basic, with Service Pack 1 installed.
