The eMachines eME720-4691 is an entry-level laptop intended portable Internet use, and is a step up from the eME620-5885. The main differences between the two are that the eME720 uses an Intel Pentium T3400 processor, which has a speed of 2.16GHz and 1MB of L2 cache. It thus has an Intel motehrboard as well, the GL40 express, and Intel's Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M, which supports Microsoft DirectX 10.0. Its other features are the same as the mE620. Its display is 15.4", widescreen with 1280 x 800 resolution, and a 160GB SATA hard disk. Its RAM capacity is 2GB and has an extra slot for expansion. It is Wi-Fi compatible with 802.11b/g connectivity. Its ports include 2 USB, and one each of line-in, microphone-in, 3.5mm audio, ethernet and VGA. It also has an 8x combo drive that can read and write DVDs and numerous other disc types. The included operating system is Windows Vista Home Basic, with Service Pack 1 installed.
