Epson PowerLite Pro Cinema 9500 UB

Epson's PowerLite Pro Cinema 9500 UB is a top-of-the-line home theater projector, to be released in fall 2009. The Pro Cinema 9500 UB features a 1080p native resolution, 1,600-lumen brightness, and a 200,000:1 contrast ratio. It utilizes a 3LCD three-chip optical engine to eliminate color break-up and D7 technology to optimize color and contrast. To the Pro Cinema 9100, it adds C2Fine and UltraBlack technologies for optimized black levels and vivid color. Other technologies unique to the 9500 UB aim to sharpen blurry or low-resolution images, and smooth frame interpolation. Connections include a pair of HDMI ports in addition to component, composite, S-video, and RGB. The device is ceiling-mountable.
