The Epson Stylus CX9400 Fax is a mid-range all-in-one inkjet machine with scan, copy, print, and fax capabilities.  Print speeds are fast, ranging up to 32 pages per minute.  Colour resolution is high, at 5760x1440 dpi.  The flatbed platen is letter-size and has a hardware optical scan resolution of 1200x2400 dpi.  The scan feature has a bit-depth of 48 bits.  The copy feature utilizes simple one-touch copying, and allows for enlarging and reducing of between 25 and 400%.  The fax feature uses a 33.6 Kbps modem and has a memory of up to 100 pages.  PC-free printing is supported, using PictBridge-compatible USB devices and flash-memory card types.  A 2.5" LCD viewscreen is included for pre-print image viewing.  Printing utilizes a four-cartridge system, with one black cartridge and individual colour cartridges.  High-capacity black cartridges are available as well.
