The Epson Stylus Photo 1400 is a high-end photo-centric inkjet printer. Text print speeds are average, ranging up to 15 pages per minute. Photo print speeds are quick: 4x6" photo prints are rated at 46 seconds while letter-sized photo prints are rated at 1 minute 51 seconds. Maximum colour resolution is rated at 5760x1440 dpi. Borderless photo printing is supported in sizes ranging up to 13x19". Direct printing to inkjet-printable CDs and DVDs is also supported. The Photo 1400 package also includes Adobe's Photoshop Elements program. Printing utilizes a 6-cartridge system, with one black cartridge and 5 individual colour cartridges.
