Details

Not meant to replace your keyboard, the DX1 is designed to increase your efficiency for high-end computing tasks like gaming, CAD, audio/video edit, and graphic design. You can create a custom set of physical skins for each of your applications, arrange the keys to the optimal configuration, label the keys, and assign macros and functionality to those keys. The skins can be printed and placed between the tray and pad, so your DX1 interface is only limited by your imagination.

At first, I thought this was not that great of an idea, but the more I thought of it used for specific professional applications (A/V editing, graphics, and CAD) the more I think that this is an amazing product. You have complete freedom and control to create your perfect interface suited for you and your application. Amazing! Check out some of the reviews for this product, it pretty much rocks. If you do a lot of specialized computer work, then you might want to consider the DX1.
