I'm Erik Kalviainen, one of the founders of ProductWiki. I'm 29 (as of Oct. 20th), Canadian, and graduated from the University of Waterloo in Systems Design Engineering in 2002. I'm a self-professed consumer maven (hence the website), and I have a lot of interests outside of the Internet including soccer, music, movies, space, math, and reality tv.

I am very/somewhat/slightly active on many of the newer social websites. Here's a link to my accounts on these sites (in order of preference):
- del.icio.us - ekalvi - digg gets more attention but del.icio.us has captured my heart
- StumbleUpon - ekalvi - originally a fellow Canadian company. A great way to find cool stuff (and waste time)
- digg - ekkalvia - slightly obsessed with Linux/Ubuntu/AJAX but good nonetheless. Great design
- LinkedIn - ekalvi - great site for business stuff. I always promise to use it more, but fail to do so.
- Twitter - ekalvi - Yes, I have Twitter. It's a love/hate thing.
I purposely left FaceBook off of the list, because I find it pretty annoying because provides very little value while wasting a hell of a lot of time. I've aggregated my social web on FriendFeed here: http://friendfeed.com/ekalvi. It's a pretty cool service, I suggest trying them out. (You can even add your ProductWiki taps to the feed by putting in the URL of your lists tab).
